Welcome to Technology Trends Blog. My name is Carly Dick, and I am currently studying Information Technology at the University of Arizona Global Campus. This blog was created as a platform to explore and share information about technology trends, cybersecurity, software, hardware, artificial intelligence, and other topics that impact our digital world.

My interest in Information Technology comes from a desire to better understand how technology influences everyday life and business operations. Throughout my studies, I have been learning about computer systems, networking, cybersecurity, software applications, and emerging technologies. As technology continues to evolve, I believe it is important to stay informed about new developments and innovations.

My career goal is to build a successful career in the Information Technology field where I can apply technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking abilities to help organizations use technology effectively. I am especially interested in learning more about cybersecurity and emerging technologies that improve communication, efficiency, and security.

Through this course of study, I hope to expand my knowledge of information technology, strengthen my technical skills, and gain practical experience that will prepare me for future career opportunities. Throughout my day, I use several different types of software applications to complete tasks and stay organized. Word processing software helps me create assignments, take notes, and prepare documents for school. Spreadsheet software can be used to organize information, perform calculations, and create charts that visually display data. Presentation software allows users to create slideshows and share information in an organized and engaging way. Database applications help store, manage, and retrieve large amounts of information efficiently. Technology applications serve different purposes depending on the user’s needs.
